Taco Bell X Bad Birdie invitational questions
What is the format for the event?
The Taco Bell x Bad Birdie Invitational will feature a single day format which will consist of an 18-hole stroke play seeding round, followed by fast-paced single elimination 9-hole matches to determine a champion.
How does match play scoring work?
Players compete hole by hole, with the player who scores lower on a hole winning that hole. The match ends when one player is leading by more holes than remain to be played.
How long is each match?
Each match consists of nine holes.
How many rounds are in the tournament?
Players must advance through three rounds of single-elimination match play to become the champion.
What happens if a match is tied after nine holes?
If a match is tied after nine holes, a sudden-death playoff will determine the winner.
How is the champion determined?
The last remaining player in each division after three rounds of match play is crowned the champion.
Will travel & accommodations be covered?
Yes, travel and lodging accommodations will be provided complimentary of the tournament. Each player will be eligible for up to $1,500 in travel reimbursements.
When will players be selected?
Players will be selected and informed by June 1st, 2025.
Do I need a certain handicap to be eligible?
Yes players must have a current handicap index better than 0.0.

Our Friends & Fam AM is a unique event where junior golfers get the opportunity to compete alongside other competitors, celebrities, golf content creators, and executives from both brands.
When will pairings be announced?
Pairings will be announced before the event.
What is the format of the event?
The event will be played in a team-based format, with each group consisting of junior golfers and influencers. The specific format (e.g., scramble, best ball, alternate shot) will be announced before the event.
Where will the event take place?
The Friends & Fam AM will be hosted at the same course as the Taco Bell x Bad Birdie Invitational - Monarch Beach Golf Links, located in Dana Point, CA.
