EVENT OVERVIEW

This isn't your traditional golf tournament. We're breaking the mold with a 2-day experience that brings together the irreverent spirit of Taco Bell and Bad Birdie's bold approach to golf on July 7-8th, 2025. From the format to the atmosphere, we're crafting an invitational that celebrates both competitive excellence and the pure joy of the game.

16 of the nation's most promising junior golfers – eight boys and eight girls – will compete in an electrifying match-play. At stake? Tour exemptions to compete alongside the world's best professional golfers.

That’s not all. The day before our golfers will get to warm up and have some fun in our Friends & Fam AM where they’ll compete alongside some of the most influential friends of the brands.

INVITATIONAL DETAILS

  • The Taco Bell x Bad Birdie Invitational will feature a single day format which will consist of an 18-hole stroke play seeding round, followed by fast-paced single elimination 9-hole matches to determine a champion.

  • In Match Play each 9-hole match will be decided in a head-to-head competition where instead of counting strokes we count holes won, lost or tied. The match concludes when one player is leading by more holes than remain to be played. If the match is tied after 9-holes, a sudden-death playoff determines the winner.

  • Hosted at Monarch Beach Golf Links, located in Dana Point, CA.

  • In addition to capturing the bragging rights of beating some of the best players, the winner of the boy’s and girl’s divisions will be awarded an exemption into a professional tour event.

  • All players must submit the online application. Submissions to include:

    • Basic information (name, city, state, college verbal or National Letter of Intent, etc.)

    • World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) – URL

    • Social Media Handles
